Hey, I’m Meg!
Somehow I’ve always known that life would guide me here. I’ve spent my short time as an adult attempting to culminate my passions and interests in a way that would leave me feeling fulfilled as I begin my career. While I’m not sure where this adventure will take us, I do know that it excites me and makes my brain light up more than other things do…
I remember shopping for my mom’s first Kitchenaid stand mixer with her and my grandma before my grandparents moved from Connecticut to Arizona. After the move my mom took up baking as a hobby (aka a coping mechanism). My passion for baking didn’t begin until college when a friend referred to my banana bread as the “best she’s ever had”. After moving to Portland, Maine in 2020, with my mom’s mixer in hand, I began baking for people in my life any chance I could get. There is something that makes my soul feel warm by nourishing those around me.
In 2024 I made the trek from Maine to Arizona to be closer to my family and for a (drastic) change in scenery. In 2025 I’m bringing Mellifluous back to share my treats with the desert!
